These foot pegs went on a 2008 Sportster 1200 Custom. I already had some skull items on the bike, and I was finding the stock pegs a little lacking. These were a great alternative to the Willie G. pegs I was considering before an extremely rude parts person at a HD dealership completely turned me off to anything from HD as far as accessories. They look really good with the central spike, and are adjustable with the central nut. This is provided so you can adjust the distance between your toes and the shifter. Loosen the 14mm chrome nut under the spike, adjust by turning the peg, and tighten back up. What you will most likely encounter is breaking and/or deforming the lock ring holding the stock peg pin, and that lock ring is made of the cheapest material possible. Make sure to have either new e-clips or use a chrome bolt or allen bolt with a locking nut to hold these super nice pegs on. The chrome finish is deep and top notch! Finally, make sure to tighten all the nuts/screws on these pegs before you go riding. This is illustrated in the included instructions and is paramount to being safe!GO TO STORE
